OK, so I've to explain the image title. As soon as I took the shot & saw it on the back of my camera, I did swear a little. To say I was happy, is an understatement. I put a shot of the image on the back of the camera up on twitter & it got retweeted like mad. Thanks everyone for the retweets. I had planned to travel a bit, if the skies were clear to take a shot of the ISS over Slane. My initial plan was to shoot the space station over the Hill of Slane, but some bright spark in the Meath County Council had the idea of lighting up the castle at night, so long exposure shots of a lit up area wouldn't work. So my backup plan was to drive into the village & try one of the gates of Slane castle. The gate on the Navan side of the village was the best as the ISS would pass right over this gate & make a better shot.
