73% illuminated Waxing Gibbous Moon 29th March'15

This evening's Waxing Gibbous moon. The moon is 73% illuminated & the craters close to the edge are well clearly visible in this shot.

At the time of taking this image, the moon was 400,911km from the earth.

It's at times like this, that I'd love a longer lens or a decent telescope to capture closer images in great detail. I'll do that when my lotto numbers come in for me.
